Bert, What a message to wake up to. In all my life I have never been so flattered. That you and Aaron, with all you have on your plate, would put so much effort in checking up on me is cherished beyond any words that I can come up with, and we know I can come up with a lot of words.

Aaron's personal message to an obscure little old lady in Florida reinforces everything I ever believed about him and you, too.

Goodness shines in his face and in his deeds. His talents are enormous but his heart is even bigger than all his talent. That is the definition of a GOOD PERSON!

Let me assure both of you. I am fine, as ornery as ever and am learning to cook bigger and better than ever thanks to Aaron's great new show! Who said you can't teach old dog new tricks? Much love to all, Florida Fran

I'm speechless...
I think this post was the sweetest thing I had ever heard on the internet. To show concern and love for a loyal fan due to their lack of posting... wow! It just is one of the many reasons why I can't get enough of your show and different web sites.

Thank you for all that you do!

We had fun shooting the video blog - we wanted it to shoot straight from the hip and straight from the heart.

Believe me folks - Aaron is not a scripted type of guy - he sincerly means everything he says.

Glad you enjoyed it - we'll be posting loads more video during the next several months.

I love watching your show and your videos Aaron. I am one of the ones that wanted you to win NFNS from the first episodes when the foods you cooked on those first shows were the only ones that pleased the judges! I was at the Foodnetwork blog cheering you on every step of the way. I made no bones about it why you should win and why the judges made the CORRECT choice!

I heard you say on one of your videos something about appreciating the haters out here but let me tell ya something Aaron and I am sure you know this but in many cases when someone hates a successful person, it's just plain jealousy. I am glad it does not bother you but any decent person that is sincerely just trying to help with constructive criticism is NOT going to hate you! Thing is no one on this planet is perfect and anyone can see all the great qualities you have, and the great cook you are. Sheeesh, if I had someone at my home that had your cooking expertise I would be one of the happiest people on the planet.

We are all different, like different things and nothing wrong with that as it would be a dull world if we all liked the same things but we don't need to hate anyone just because they aren't the way we think they should be or because they don't cook or talk the way we want them to.

Not only your great cooking skills came through from the first NFNS show but your great personality did as well, too. Those two qualities is just something no one could possibly hate unless they are just plain jealous.

The positive things about you more than out weigh any negative hype so glad you know that!

Sorry to be so long.

Hey Aaron! Long time no see. The last time that I saw you, you were a scrawny little kid. A co-worker asked me if I knew you. I tuned in and you were awesome. I am really proud of you. I saw Vangie also.

Please say hello to her for me. I would love to hear from you guys. Take care!
