The Premiere episode of Big Daddy's House aired on Food Network. Chef Aaron prepared a 3 course family fun meal with a special guest appearance from Mini-Chef Justin McCargo.
Chef Justin inspired Big Daddy with a unique recipe for a Chicken Tenders Salad.
Aaron smashed up tortilla chips to provide the crust for his chicken tenders (nacho-cheese and blue corn tortilla chips).
Big Daddy dropped the tenders for a quick fry while constructing a tasty salad bed featuring Romaine Lettuce, Tomatoes, Jalapenos and Cheddar Cheese.Big Daddy's oldest son inspired the next dish - a popular item at the ol' McCargo's restaurant - Josh's Roast Pork with Broccoli Rabe.

Aaron seasoned, seared, roasted and sliced a beautiful pork loin while blanching up a pot of broccoli rabe. Once cooked, the pork and broccoli rabe were placed between inverted slices of ciabatta bread topped off with provolone cheese.
Finally, Chef Aaron pressed the assembled sandwich with a grill press - to provide the perfect texture to the perfect Roast Pork sandwich.
Oven-baked seasoned fries wrapped up 3 fun-filled courses.
Big Daddy sat down with Justin for the most anticipated part of the day - Dinner Time !!LINKS

i thought it was so cool to see Aaron with the Neely's. He's got a great personality and I really like the look of his cooking. I know I'll be trying out his chicken tender and oven-fries recipes. Great start, so far!
Big ups to Big Daddy from a Philly Fan!!!!
I am so proud of you and happy that you won the contest for the next Food Network Star! I watched today's show and thought you did a fabulous job. I definitely want to try your recipes and loved your interaction with your son. I expect your continued success.
Please remember to think of low calorie, low fat recipes for those of us who love big, bold flavored food but don't want big booties or waistlines!
Way to go Aaron!! You should be really proud of the great job you did in front of the camera, a real pro and it was fun to watch you with your handsome little son. Can't wait to try your recipes. All the best to you!
Aaron did great on his first show not only cooking but on camera as well! I was one of many that felt it was just the challenges that made it difficult for Aaron on camera because every time you watch him talking on camera when there wasn't a challenge going on, he did great!! I hope Aaron you realize now there is no need for you to not have confidence although I don't ever want you to change your humbleness because that was one of the things (you being humble) that made me choose you from the beginning! That along with your great cooking skills.
I loved you using Grapeseed Oil. After I saw where someone posted at another site how healthy that is (some even think it's the healthiest of all oils) and that Grapeseed Oil was one of the only things that helped them lower their cholesterol, I thought it was great you using something healthy. Although no one should use it excessively it was clearly refreshing to me to see something healthy used.
And all your dishes looked delicious. Ohhhhh if I could just have someone in my house that could cook like you I would think all dreams do come true :)
I just enjoyed your show Aaron...you connected with the camera, you were funny and the interaction with your son was great. Keep up the good work
Good first show
Congrats Aaron!!!
Loved the show yesterday, and so happy you are the next star on FN! Good luck to you and yours!
Aaron, We LOVED your first show! We watched it twice already! You were awesome on camera! We learned so much! I would love for you to post a list of "must have" spices. Better yet, create your own line of spices for us to buy! The chicken fingers are on next week's menu!
We love you Aaron! You have the "It" factor! I will definitely be watching the FN more often now! Your presentation is exciting, and if you were a little nervous, that's okay because as time goes by, you'll continue to polish yourself, like everyone else. You were the best, and most consistent with the tasty and hearty food as Paula said. And, you were the only one to win both throwdowns in
Vegas! Your wife and children are beautiful!
Congratulations Aaron! We are so proud of you that we made that wonderful Jerk Ribeye recipe last night and it was Bold and flavorful! We prayed for you a lot to win, and we dont even have a TV! Just net clips off foodnetwork!
You are a real inspiration and we were so proud of your testimony of Faith and a true humility in your approach. God Bless your whole family and keep those new recipes coming! Eileen and Vincent
Aaron, you are the boom! keep it real, and do what you do, cook your #%$# off.
